Today is a great day for me....I am feeling better, less coughing but still having running nose..(my nose hurts and the skin around the area got so dried up and it hurts.......)
Tummy still need to be soften...as.no oily food and Hard food because of the gastric I need to consume cereal bread and soft meals..it ...is healing too...Job ran well and there is no "Governmnet" for today and tomorrow...the girls will be happy out there...hmmm:) me too happy!
I was surprised by a phone call by my old primary school mate, Soot Ling, she need to meet up with me!...It is rather a rare occasion that we go out as it has been very very long time since I met up with her for lunch while she is working at International Plaza. Soot ling is my primary school mate since primary 1 to primary 6...we have been good friends for years and my family remembers her as a chubby girl who loves to drink orange juice call TANGS...and she always will get the drink when she visit me at home...we used to live in Toa Payoh estate when we were younger and often went out together to play or to the library together...there will always be 4 of us, Eunice, Sootling, Late Soo Huan and myself...Sad thing is Soo Huan passed away at an early age of 21years old suffering from some kind of infectious illness due to spleen problem....it was sad for all of us who lost our childhood friend.
This evening Soot Ling made a very good effort to surprise me and another 2 primary schoolmates for a short dinner gathering...Karen, who is now married to a Norwaygein and lives in Norway is in town for a purpose of making up with old friends and also to handle renting
matters for her house..Siew Ling was also present ,too.
Guest what....after 30years graduating from primary school...we all met again for the first time!!! We were so happy to see each other again...Honestly , all of us does not change very much except myself as they wouldnt have recgonised me because of the head gear.....Its been such a long time....long ....time. Soot Ling actually tried to gather some other old friends but due to short notice, she did not manage to locate any of them
While having dinner, we were talking about our English teacher Mrs Tan...and she immediately made a surprise phone call to tell her that we all have met. Next 8th April, Soot Ling, and the rest of 3 of us will try to locate as much as our old schools and classmates to make another historical gatherings at Mrs Tan in Adam Road...
Wow! its a amazing that after 30years we all met again and looking forward for the next meeting..Frienship for me the best things that money cannot buy...treasured it with all your heart...It takes a long time to grow an old friend indeed........
Will continue about my old time friends after we meet on 8th April!!!
