Its a culture in Creative Tours that staffs will buy lunch or tea for their colleagues when one get promotion or hit their golden years in Creatives Tours (5yrs,10yrs,15yrs, 20yrs ...). We had our AGM (Annual General Meeting) held last 16thy April , I got my maiden promotion with CTS and that I had promised my department to give them a lunch treat..I decided PULUT KUNING is my choice of meal...
Why PULUT KUNING?...it is significant in Malay culture or the Javanese to prepare them for any thanks giving occasion to celebrate an auspicious day like wedding, engagement, cukor rambut or other achievement one had. For me, I specially like PULUT KUNING. I missed eating it and didnt have it for ages...I sort of crave for it and this time round have a good reason for asking Emak to cook for me.
I should have cooked it myself but I am not good at estimation of over 10 people for makan...so Emak is my rescuer!!! She did for the sake of love...and love cooking...EMAK banyak2 terimakasih for the Effort I really appreciated it..she is ever ready to cook it!
This morning, had all my 22packets of rice neatly packed and had to transport in a cab.
Despite all the effort, I am happy that all the girls at work happy with my lunch treat and what they ask for next....Emak Nasi Lemak Special wrapped in Banana Leaves.....Girls, I will take my next order than!...this time chargeble ah..!
Wanna thank my dearest Emak for making my day and making my colleauges tummy happy and also making the girls to sleep after eating because they said it was the best lunch ever and that they had been over fed!
